Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed at a Q&A session for shareholders that "The View" host Joy Behar has apologized to Vice President Mike Pence for comparing his Christian faith to mental illness.

Fox News reported that Justin Danhof, the general counsel for the National Center for Public Policy Research, is the shareholder who questioned Iger about co-hosts Behar and Sunny Hostin's comments. In light of ESPN's politicization and Behar criticizing Pence's religion, Danhof accused Disney of being "willing to take a financial hit just so long as it's in service to bashing conservatives and religious Americans."

"What do you say to the tens of millions of Christians, and President Trump supporters, that your networks have so blatantly offended and ascribed hateful labels?" Danhof asked. "Specifically, do you think, like Mrs. Hostin and Mrs. Behar, that the Christian faith is akin to a dangerous mental illness?"

Iger responded by saying that Behar apologized privately to Pence for her comments, which she said were a joke.

"First of all, Joy Behar apologized to Vice President Pence directly when she made a call to him and apologized which I thought was absolutely appropriate," Iger said.

"I happen to take exception with what she said. I don't think it was right," Iger continued.

Danhoff told Fox News that Iger is "tepid" and depends on praise from those around him.

"Not the most powerful man in Hollywood, today he was the most tepid man in Hollywood," Danhof told Fox News, referring to Iger. "He took one real question after about a dozen soliloquies of praise for how great and wonderful he is."

After the comments on "The View," Pence criticized ABC for allowing commentary he deemed offensive.

"An overwhelming major of Americans cherish their faith, and we have all different types of faith in this country," Pence said. "But I have to tell you: To have ABC maintain a broadcast forum that compared Christianity to mental illness is just wrong."
