This is the shocking moment a callous driver ploughed into a motorcyclist who he had mistaken for someone else.
CCTV showed how the motorist bashed into his victim at full speed along a main road, causing him to suffer two broken hips and multiple fractures.
The 20-year-old victim was mistaken for someone else while riding his yellow Suzuki machine down Parrs Wood Road, Burnage, in the early hours.
As he reached the junction of Heyscroft Road the man started to slow his bike down, at which point Louis Lomas’ red Citroen closed in on him, the Manchester Evening News reported .
