A freak shark attack left a woman fearing she had lost a finger while she was on a "once-in-a-lifetime" holiday.
Shocking footage shows the moment a Tawny nurse shark gripped Melissa Brunning's hand with its teeth.
The giant fish, usually considered to be docile, sucked her finger into its mouth.
The clip shows the 34-year-old, from Perth in Australia, being dragged into the water by the shark.
She told Perth News : "I think the shark was in shock as much as I was ... the only way I can describe it is this immense pressure and it felt like it was shredding it off the bone.
