A young girl's head became trapped in an escalator which kept going - dragging her along.
The youngster was peering over the edge of the handrail as she travelled up to the next level at the department store in China - when she got her head trapped against a wall.
She does not appear to have seen the wall - which was part of the ceiling from the floor above - fast approaching, and was left dangling precariously as she was dragged along.
CCTV footage shows how the girl's feet were lifted up, fueling concerns she could have been lifted over the edge and dropped to the floor below.
Her legs desperate flail in the air as she tries to save herself - and appears lucky not to have been dragged over.
