This is the terrifying moment two brothers attacked a taxi with a 17-inch machete during a row rage row that led to them being sentenced to two years in prison yesterday.
Charles Truman, 25 and Matthew, 22, were seen on CCTV pulling up behind the black Mercedes taxi on a roundabout in Chester at 6.30pm on August 17 before trying to yank open the passenger doors.
When they discovered the doors were locked, Charles began smashing the roof and windows with the blade, which one witness described as ‘the longest knife I’ve ever seen, like something out of Lord of the Rings’.
