Jaime Pressly is the latest Hollywood star to join the growing list of celebrities launching accounts on subscription platform OnlyFans.
The 48-year-old actress revealed Thursday that she has officially launched her page, saying the move is part of her desire to connect more directly with fans in a modern digital landscape.
“I’ve always believed in evolving with the times,” the former My Name Is Earl star said in a statement to Variety
.
Pressly explained that the platform gives her the chance to engage with followers “on my own terms.”
“This is another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention,” she added.
The actress said her years attending fan conventions and Comic Cons helped inspire the decision after seeing firsthand how much audiences still connected with her work.
“I’ve loved meeting fans face-to-face over the years,” she reportedly said, noting those interactions played a major role in the launch.
Pressly’s new venture was launched with assistance from Creators Inc. CEO Andy Bachman, who praised the actress’s enduring popularity.
“She has the rare mix of mainstream star power and a real audience connection that modern platforms reward,” Bachman told Variety
.
“She’s an elite entertainer, and fans are going to love what she creates here,” he added.
Pressly follows a growing number of actresses and public figures turning to direct-to-fan subscription platforms in recent years, including Shannon Elizabeth, as celebrities increasingly seek more control over their content and audience engagement online.
