Monk gets robbed while buying lottery tickets. The thief steals the money and runs away driving a Ford Mustang car. On Sunday January 3, 2016, as the complainant, a 61 year-old male, was inside a Sunoco gas station located at 801 South Broad Street purchasing lottery tickets, an unknown black male approached the complainant from behind and snatched approximately 350 from the complainant’s hand. After snatching the money, the suspect ran from the store with the complainant following him. The complainant was able to catch the suspect when a struggle ensued. During the struggle the complainant was pushed to the ground sustaining a cut to his left leg. The suspect then fled and was last seen entering a newer dark silver Ford Mustang
