Newly released dash-cam footage shows a fleeing man losing control of his truck during a high-speed chase, flying out of the window and then trying to run away. On April 9, 2015, Jose Manuel Sanchez crashed into a Boise police car, injuring an officer, according to Idaho State Police. The injured officer, unable to pursue the suspect, called for backup, which led to the pursuit on Interstate 84 in Ada County. The video shows the truck rolling over and Sanchez being ejected through the driver-side window as his legs flail over a cloud of dust. The responding Idaho trooper said Sanchez landed on his head and then took off on foot before he was caught. Sanchez was arrested and eventually convicted of several felonies. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison, court records show
