This Muslim Ummah used former President Jimmy Carters book while speaking to a crowd of fellow Muslims to bash America as a nation that still supports slavery. The Ummah cited several different parts of Carters book that claimed the US still buys and sells tens of thousands of slaves every year from nations around the world. Jimmy Carter has been known for his outrageous statements in regards to modern day slavery in America. Here is one instance.
"The United States is one of the most culpable countries in ... modern slavery," Carter said in an interview on MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports." "The slave trade now greatly exceeds anything that happened in the 19th and 18th centuries."
Which speaks volumes considering Jimmy Carter, like Obama has made it his lifes work to travel around the world bashing America.
