A Chinese tourist fell from a great height when climbing down the undeveloped part of the Great Wall in Beijing, China on April 23, 2016. The accident was caught on camera by an eye-witness and later uploaded to social media. The local firefighters arrived at the accident scene and found that the victim was laying on the ground. His companion covered him with sheathing paper to keep him warm. "The injured tourist was climbing down the Great Wall by a high stepladder. However, his backpack got caught in the stepladder, he lost balance and fell," said Yang Zan, a local firefighter. The victim was taken to a local hospital with an injured waist and leg and has now been discharged.
