The world's largest salvage tug, which is capable of lifting an equivalent weight of 60 Boeing 747, was unveiled in Shanghai on May 13. The "Zhenhua-30" is designed to be used to rescue ships which are in distress or in danger of sinking, or to salvage ships which have already sunk or run aground. It can lift some 12000 tonnes and spin 360 degree holding 7000 tonnes. The tug is to salvage the Korean vessel MV Sewol that was sunk in 2014.
