A kindergarten in northern China's Hebei province apologized to kids' parents over the abuse. The child named Xiaoyu who was physically beaten in this video was diagnosed with ear-trauma, ear-purulence and ear bleeding on May 28. A 58-second video that the child's parents recorded from the surveillance of the kindergarten showed that a woman in pink clothes grasped onto one of Xiaoyu’s ear and dragged Xiaoyu into a restroom. The video also showed that the woman kicked another boy in the back. As there is no surveillance in the restroom, people cannot identify what occurred there. The report on the Yanzhao Evening News citing the words of kid said that the woman in the pink clothes slapped him twice around the ear. After they watched the video, the kid's parents found their son had been beaten several times before. According to a screenshot of text messages shared between Xiaoyu's parents and the teacher, the teacher said Xiaoyu was too naughty and she beat him just to educate him. The incident is under police investigation.
