Two explosions have hit Turkey's largest airport, Istanbul Ataturk, Turkish officials have confirmed, adding that several people were injured in the blasts on Tuesday evening.
Gunfire was also confirmed by the officials, after shots were heard from the vicinity of the airport terminal. Officials say that Turkish Police fired at two suspects around the entrance to the airport, who then proceeded to detonate suicide belts. CNN have reported that one of the explosions occurred inside the terminal, however this has not been confirmed.
Israel's Channel 1 have reported that over 100 casualties have been reported, however that number has not been confirmed. Footage from the network showed ambulances rushing to the scene, and taxis taking the injured away to hospital.
