About 5 animal right nut jobs ran out onto the field at Dodgers stadium Sunday, July 3, during a game against Colorado Rockies.
The activists held signs and ran on the field during the ninth inning.
The group of wackos were from Berkeley, of course, and were protesting what they consider cruel treatment of "piglets" used to make Farmer John's Dodger Dogs, the stadium's signature hot dogs.
Direct Action Everywhere spokesman Wayne Hsiung, said:
"It's unfortunate their nonviolent protest was met with such rough treatment by security, but we're hopeful this starts a constructive dialogue about responsible corporate practices."
Pass the mustard, this story made me hungry.
