Recently, catching sight of police carrying out checks on ID cards on the Shanghai subway, a man quickly ran away from the scene. Running through Tangqiao Station, a passerby suddenly calmly stretched out his left foot and tripped up the escaping man, causing him to fall down a flight of stairs. After getting up and running a few more steps, another passerby also tripped him up, causing him to fall again. Two policemen who had been in pursuit of the man soon caught up with him and promptly arrested him. It is understood that the man being chased was a fugitive on the run from the law.
