This heart-stopping footage captures the moment a child was left dangling dangerously from a ski lift after he forgot to lower the safety bar.
The nine-year-old boy was left hanging approximately 10 metres above the ground after he leaned forward and slipped.
His horrified parents were forced to cling onto him as he hovered above the ground at Mount Hutt at Canterbury Plains in the South Island of New Zealand, until help arrived.
