For years, the Grolier Codex has been written off as a fake book, but researchers from various institutions have now come to the conclusion that the ancient Mayan book (thought to be 900 years old) is authentic. RT America’s Ashlee Banks has more and speaks with professor at Yale University, Mary Miller, who says, “[the Grolier Codex] is the oldest pre-Hispanic book to survive in the America’s” and that it was a “treasured book” for the Mayans.
