When Typhoon Megi made landfall in Fuding, Fujian Province, on late September, many couples insisted on getting married in the huge wind and rain. They claimed that they calculated it was the best and luckiest day to get married and nothing would stop their hopes of a new life.The typhoon brought winds of around 120 kilometers an hour to the province, and unleashed heavy rains, affecting over 200,000 people.
