One of the world’s largest oil tankers, designed and made by the Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company, has started test operations in the Bohai Sea off China’s northeastern coast. With a tonnage of 308,000, the tanker's enormous capacity means it can store up to 2.2 million barrels of crude oil. Despite its size, the entire tanker requires a crew of fewer than 30 members, thanks to high levels of automatization on board.
