A two-state, high-speed car chase ended with the arrest of a Pensacola man, authorities said.
Flomaton Police were made aware of Donald Sylvester Clark, 24, when Florida authorities attempted to stop Clark on Thursday afternoon. Flomaton officers were advised to be on the lookout for the stolen white Chevrolet Impala Clark was driving on Highway 29.
When authorities spotted the vehicle in Flomaton, police said Clark accelerated to elude police. He reached speeds of up to 130 mph while traveling north on Highway 31 towards Brewton, police said. Clark slowed down to 75 mph after passing Wolf Log Road on Highway 31.
