Rainbow-4, China’s domestically designed and produced UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), has attracted much attention at the ongoing Airshow China 2016, which is being held in south China’s Zhuhai city. Footage of the aircraft in action was recently released online.
Rainbow-4 is designed to perform missions encompassing reconnaissance, surveillance, targeting, intelligence gathering, electronic warfare, border patrol, island defense and anti-terrorism. It has been exported to dozens of countries since its maiden flight in 2011.
