A 55-year-old Wausau man was cited last week for operating a snowmobile on a roadway, after using the vehicle to make a cigarette run. The driver, now identified as John Grassl, was found to also be under the influence of alcohol. A breath test showed him at twice the legal limit for driving an automobile. He was taken to jail and now faces 9 years in prison for breaking parole from an unrelated offense.
