Terrifying footage shows a Rottweiler savaging a small boy as he plays in a family garden.
Three-year-old Marco Slabbert was set upon by the angry hound outside his home in Hennenman, South Africa.
Picked up by the family's CCTV camera, the dog leaps onto Marco and knocks him to the ground before biting at his arms and legs.
Marco can be seen kicking furiously as he tries to escape the ferocious attack but the animal is too strong for him.
The dog only stops gnashing at Marco when a woman runs out of the house and pushes the hound away.
The youngster suffered head and hand injuries after the attack but was discharged from hospital the following day.
