Michigan man, Demarlon Thomas, whose drug-related prison sentence was commuted by former President Barack Obama, was fatally shot Monday at a federal halfway house. Thomas was killed by a man with an assault-style rifle in Saginaw, Michigan. Michigan State Police Lt. David Kaiser reported Two masked men with assault-style rifles entered the facility where over 20 people were staying. Kaiser said, "One person watched over a group of them while another subject located the victim and executed him.†No one else was injured in the attack.
