An Oakdale High School special education teacher was cited on misdemeanor charges after throwing a party where a high school boy was found passed out from drinking too much alcohol, sheriff's investigators said Monday.
eandra Spence was cited and released Saturday night by San Joaquin County sheriff's deputies on charges of child endangerment, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and another misdemeanor, the sheriff's office said.
Spence hosted a birthday party Saturday at her home in Escalon for her boyfriend's teenage daughter, who is a student at Oakdale High School, several parents told KCRA 3.
One boy at the party passed out and became unresponsive at Spence's house after drinking alcohol. A friend at the party called the teen's parents who drove to the home, according to the boy's parents.
