A man has been arrested after vile racist abuse was hurled at a mixed race man on the top deck of a bus.
GMP launched an investigation after shocking videos captured a man shouting at another man sat two seats away for nearly three minutes, branding him a ‘dirty little black c**t’.
On the recordings, the abuser scolds the victim for not paying ‘no tax and no national insurance’ and claiming his own 77-year-old grandfather had paid tax all his life and had ‘fought in World War II’.
He then forces his target off the bus off by threatening to ‘bounce this can in your face’ and calling him a ‘dirty little black c**t’.
After the victim gets off the bus at Salford precinct, the abuser then shouts: “Dirty n*****s on the bus... doing f**k all... getting everything.”
Detectives said a 29-year-old has now been arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence and will be interviewed by officers on Sunday.
The videos, taken by fellow passengers, were uploaded onto Facebook on Friday night and have since been seen and shared hundreds of thousands of times.
