Extraordinary footage shows a crowd of passersby working together to turn over a car that was toppled on its side after a collision on Saturday afternoon in east China’s Anhui Province.
A SUV had collided into another at an intersection in Hefei city, causing the latter to roll over. Passersby hesitated for only a few moments before rushing over to push the vehicle upright.
They managed to rescue three people trapped in the vehicle, including a seven-year-old boy, and then notified the police.
The driver and the passengers were subsequently sent to a hospital, with the driver suffering a fracture in one of his wrists while the other two were deemed not significantly injured.
"Without the aid of the kind-hearted, I would have been injured even worse. I want to say thank you to those people," said the driver surnamed Huang.
