Bystanders on Tuesday rescued a boy who accidentally became stuck under a van after it drove over him in Tianzhu county, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Guizhou Province.
The accident happened in the afternoon when a three-year-old boy stopped in front of the van and bent over to collect oranges on the ground.
Without noticing the boy, the driver suddenly started his van and drove over the child, not noticing for a few seconds that the child was under his van.
A man sitting by a shop on the street witnessed the accident and immediately stood up and yelled at the van, forcing it to stop.
People within the van then got off and found that the boy was pinned under the van and unable to move.
Bystanders soon gathered to help lift the van and the driver, who surnamed Wu picked up the boy and transferred him to the hospital.
