Oviedo Police have released body cam footage showing an shooting that led to officer Matthew Danler being indicted for two counts of aggravated battery, one could of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Officer Danler claims the driver tried to run him over, but investigators are not sure if the shooting was justified. The suspect's attorney claims the his client's car pulled into the street and was in the correct lane, and that he never veered towards the officer. Suspect Jason Scott survived the shooting and has been charged with aggravated assault and fleeing and eluding.
