A brave shopper tried to tackle a gang of robbers after they smashed through the windows of a jewellery store with a car.
Driver William Cochrane, 39, and accomplice Scott Lister, rammed a Jaguar into the shop in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, during a brazen raid.
The pair were were assisted by Cochrane's brother Richard, who helped Lister scoop up jewels after they jumped out of the car.
In dramatic footage members of the public are shown trying to stop the pair as they attempt to flee with handfuls of valuables swiped during the chaos.
A woman lunges at one of the robbers, grabbing at their coat. While two men sprint onto the scene kicking the car's doors as one of the men scurries into the vehicle.
Cochrane and Lister had also targeted another jewelers in Halifax two days earlier, with the latter using an imitation firearm to threaten staff.
The pair fled the store in a car with thousands of pounds worth of jewels.
Bradford Crown Court heard how the Cochrane brothers had been on bail at the time of the robberies for burglary at a Lidl store.
