Social media users have been left outraged after a member of staff at a Chinese education Bureau defended school bullies who forced a young girl to kiss ten of them.
The incident took place straight after class on March 5 in Wenchuan County, Guangdong province and was filmed by one of the group before being uploaded online.
The local education bureau have announced that they are investigating the incident but also said that the bullies were 'playing'.
The young girl can be seen standing in a crowd of teenage boys as they forcibly kiss her.
She looks down at the floor with her hands over her face trying to stop the boys as they kiss her on the lips.
At one point they can be seen making motions of grabbing her genitals and buttocks.
Other boys can be seen looking on.
A member of staff from the Wuchuan City Board of Education said that the boys were all from the same village.
They also said: 'There was no effect on the girl, they were playing at the time.'
People online have been left outraged by the staff member's comment.
One user said: 'I wonder if the Bureau of Education would say this if it was their daughter.'
While another said: 'Is this not indecent? It should enter the judicial process.'
And one user wrote: 'Such people are social scum but also increase crime.'
According to reports, the video was shared on messaging app WeChat which was then brought to the attention of the school and Education Bureau.
The parents of the children were called in and reportedly reached a settlement.
