Horrific video shows monkey being butchered and its brain removed

This shocking video shows the moment a group of people crack open a monkey's skull before eating the animal's brains.
The clip, shot in Vietnam's Nghe An province, shows a young man hacking at the poor creature's head with a butcher's knife as it lies, still alive, chained up on a log.
The monkey, which is covered in a pink cloth, at first appears to struggle and makes final desperate squeaks of terror as the man continues to batter it with the 12-inch blade.Once the animal's skull is sliced off, the laughing man then digs out its brains with a table spoon before taking a mouthful of the the pink flesh.
He then passes the brains to the rest of the group, who swallow them down with glasses of water.
According to the Mirror, the clip was sent to animal lover Ben Sovat from one of the group involved.
