A hero employee at a McDonald's in Florida leaped through a service window after spotting a police officer had passed out with her children in the car.
Pedro Viloria became worried when he served the off-duty cop, who was struggling to breathe.
When she pulled away her SUV crashed into a barrier outside the Doral restaurant.
The restaurant chain praised Viloria, and said a second staff member sprang into action by giving CPR.
Viloria told WPLG: 'In that moment, I thought, I'd rather save that woman's life. I see she's like inflating her neck, like trying to breathe, like "ahh", and basically I thought something was going wrong.'
He jumped through the window and found she was unconscious, with her children anxious in the back seat.
Viloria ran back into the restaurant to search for help, and luckily there was a paramedic on hand.
An off-duty firefighter also helped out.
A statement from McDonald's to CBSMiami said: 'First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers are with the officer and her family during this difficult time.
'I think I speak for our McDonald’s family when I say how proud we are of Pedro. He is an excellent employee, so it didn’t surprise me that he took immediate action and jumped through a window to help save this woman.
'And he was not the only member of the team that played a pivotal role in ensuring she received the medical attention she needed.
'A second employee, who asked to remain unnamed, assisted with CPR. Their quick thinking and action were everything in that moment.'
