A reckless Audi driver swerved across lanes of traffic to undertake a lorry on the motorway before braking harshly and forcing the lorry driver to slow down.
The dangerous stunt happened at Junction 15 of the M56 in north Chester, northwest England, during the rush hour just after 8.30am on Thursday.
Leighton Davies captured the moment on his dashcam and the clip was shared online by HGV Dash Cam Footage.
Mr Davies, who was in the car behind, said the Audi was 'straddling the 2 lanes behind because a tipper lorry was overtaking me.'
He added: 'As the Audi got closer I noticed him clapping his hands.
'When the lorry passed me the car slipped through the gap and pressed his brakes and then pulled in front of the tipper lorry and slammed his breaks on and slowed him down.'
A complaint has been made to Cheshire Police.
