This is the moment a 14-year-old boy defended himself using jiu-jitsu after being attacked by a foul-mouthed father twice his age in a playground row.
Connor Jackson, who has been doing martial arts for four years, was at a skate park in Walsall with his younger brother when he was confronted by the furious man, who is thought to be in his mid-twenties.
In shocking footage of the altercation the parent tries to punch the youngster in the face - but he immediately springs into a defensive position that he learned from Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
He blocks the attack before hitting the man back and running to safety as the man throws a scooter at him leaving him with a cut on his head.
The row started when Connor's 12-year-old brother got into an argument with another boy which descended into 'fisticuffs' between the young children.
In the video the other boy's dad can be heard urging his son to 'knock him out' as he says: 'F*** him up, batter him now, give me your bag, beat him up.'
But as Connor stands back and watches the playground drama unfolding the youngster's dad turns on him unprovoked after asking: 'You're his brother are you? How old are you?'
Connor's dad Nathan Jackson, 45, an HGV driver, told MailOnline: ‘The lads would have gone at him if Connor didn’t defend himself.
‘The way he looked and the way he acted, I grew up on the streets so I understand people and he would have gone for it to put fear into the kids on the skate park.
‘He was quite happy enough for his kid to beat up another 12-year-old and obviously he wanted a piece of that action so he was looking for the next biggest person.
‘Unfortunately for him, Connor’s put his hands up, blocked him away from his grasp and then put a punch on him.'
The row unfolded at the Willenhall Skatepark in Walsall, West Midlands, last Tuesday when Connor was visiting his mother's house.
His 12-year-old younger brother got into an argument with another child of the same age over a scooter.
But when it escalated into 'fisticuffs' the other boy went and got his tracksuit-clad parents.
In the video, the dad can be seen encouraging his son to attack the 12-year-old as he shouts: 'Knock him out, how old are you? Batter him, f*** him up, batter him now, give me your bag, beat him up.
The mum then screams: 'You are f****** lucky that I ain't battering you you little p****.
The dad shouts: 'Just f*** him up, just knock him the f*** out, you gonna let a little kid take the p*** out of you? Knock him out, f*** him up.'
But with his young child refusing to attack, the dad then changes the focus of his foul-mouthed tirade.
He suddenly starts screaming at Connor before launching himself at the 14-year-old - accompanied by another young boy thought to be his older son.
But after launching their attack the pair suddenly realise it may not have been such a good idea as Connor defends himself using martial arts moves.
His dad Nathan, who lives in Tamworth with his girlfriend Sharron Kerr, 47, continued: ‘His little brother is in the wrong and he deserved to be told off but I’d never have spoken to him the way that they did, swearing at him and threatening to bang him and knock him out and he’s on about getting his son to beat him up.
‘I’ve always said to Connor, if ever you’re on the streets and something happens you’ll have to be careful in what you’re doing because you can hurt somebody - you need to keep control of things.
