Out-of-control Golf mounts pavement before smashing into lamp post

Dramatic footage shows the moment an out-of-control Golf drives at speed on the pavement before shunting a car so hard it demolishes a lamp post.
The shocking clip shows the souped-up VW trying to overtake at high speed before swerving on to the pavement.
The car, traveling in Luton, Bedforshire, was filmed on Monday afternoon in a suburban street in the north of the town by Tom Price and the shocking clip has since been viewed 20,000 times.
Mr Price uploaded the video to social media with the caption: 'This is what happens when you think you can drive but can't.'
The clip opens with the dashcam vehicle driving in what is thought to be Old Bedford Road.
Three young men are then filmed running away from the scene. One is seen leaning back into the smoking Golf to retrieve what is thought to be his mobile
