SHE'S BACK! And Still Refusing to Accept Responsibility for Her Loss, Blames FBI Director James Comey Once Again

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday blamed FBI Director James Comey for her election loss to President Donald Trump. Clinton was asked during an interview at a "Women for Women International" conference in New York City why she believes she lost to Trump. The former Democrat presidential nominee first said that she takes personal responsibility for her loss, before blaming others. "I was on the way to winning until the combination of Jim Comey's letter on Oct. 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me but got scared off," Clinton said. "And the evidence for that intervening event is, I think, compelling, persuasive." Clinton then said the election was on Oct. 28. "If the election had been on Oct. 27, I'd be your president. And it wasn't, it was on October 28," she said.



Clinton was referencing a letter from Comey to leaders in Congress stating that the FBI was forced to reopen part of the investigation into her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state. "The reason why I believe we lost were the intervening events in the last 10 days," she continued. Clinton then repeatedly mentioned that she won the popular vote over Trump, a line frequently used by her supporters. Clinton also said that she would rather have Trump focus on tweeting about her than on intervening in foreign affairs.
