Thailand fight 'between prostitutes and Middle-Eastern tourists'

A group of businessmen were beaten up by a gang of prostitutes after starting a drunken brawl in a Thai red light district.
The men were kicked and slapped over the head by the sex workers in the notorious seaside resort of Pattaya as police officers watched on.
The tourists had been drinking in a bar when they started fighting among themselves and a policeman who came to help was pushed over onto a bin bag full of rubbish.
The fight quickly escalated as half a dozen prostitutes from nearby bars got involved - punching and kicking the men.
Officers stood back and watched the group for several minutes as the brawl continued.
Two of the men, who were described as of Middle Eastern appearance, eventually walked away and the fight subsided in the early hours of the morning on April 25.
Onlooker Sutthinat Phermsuk, who recorded the fight, said: 'The Arab men started fighting with each other. They were drunk, which caused the fight.
'Some of the bar girls got involved and it became aggressive. One of the girls kicks the boy quite hard.'
Officers said they had made no arrests in connection with the incident.
Earlier this year police rolled out 'Happy Zones' along the Walking Street area of the tourist hotspot in a bid to combat crime.
