A terminally-ill grandmother has revealed footage of a Burger King employee lunging for her phone and threatening to smash it - because she tried to film him when he allegedly swore at her.
Gloria Garwood, who has terminal lung cancer, ordered a Whopper meal at the drive-thru of the Yeading branch of Burger King in Hayes, Bromley, on Tuesday evening.
However the grandmother-of-two only discovered she had been given a Chicken Royale meal instead when arriving home, forcing her to make a ten-mile return trip.
After being handed the same wrong meal again, Ms Garwood claims that the staff member became agitated when she asked for a third replacement and swore at her while ripping off his name badge.
In a bid to catch the staff member's alleged tantrum on camera, Ms Garwood began filming on her iPhone - however footage appears to show the employee fly into a rage and threaten 'I'll break your phone'.
Stunned Ms Garwood from Bracknell, Berkshire, said: 'When he saw I was videoing he kicked off and flew over to me. I stepped back because I thought he was going to hit me.
'Although I look fine I have lung cancer and I can't run, so there wasn't a lot I could have done to get away.
'I was in a really vulnerable position and started shaking, all over a Whopper meal.
'The customer service was appalling.
'All the other woman said was "I'm sorry, I don't know what else you want me to do".'
Ms Garwood, who has been battling cancer for seven years and is receiving palliative care, popped into the branch after attending a hospice therapy session.
Ms Garwood, 60, said: 'I don't normally go to Burger King but all the steroids I have causes my blood sugar levels to drop so I thought I'd grab something from the drive-thru to keep my levels up.'
After discovering the initial error Ms Garwood returned to the store. She was about to leave the branch after being handed what she believed was the correct meal but claims she was given the same Chicken Royale meal.
Ms Garwood said: 'When I said I had the wrong meal again the staff member started being rude and swearing at me so I asked for his name - he then pulled off his name tag.
'He then said: "I'm going to smash your phone up". I couldn't believe it, it was disgusting.
'If I hadn't stepped back he would have got my phone and that would have been £600 down the drain.
'The woman serving with him seemed frightened of him - she told him to stop and then just stood there looking at me.'
The Burger King employee can be heard on the clip appearing to say: 'I'll break your phone, I'll break your phone.'
Ms Garwood retorts: 'I beg your pardon? Do you want someone to beat you? Do you want someone to beat you? Did you see all that?'
A female employee says: 'I'm sorry, I did see that.'
Ms Garwood says: 'So what are you going to do about it, say never mind and don't do it again?'
The employee says: 'I'll have a talk with him afterwards. I don't know what else to do, I don't know what else you want me to do.'
Ms Garwood, who said she responded in the heat of the moment during the video, sat at a table near the door for half an hour after the alleged incident until her daughter arrived.
She was finally given the worker's name and a refund for the Whopper meal before returning home.
Ms Garwood said: 'I don't want compensation from Burger King, I never want to step foot in there again.
'I want an apology and that boy needs to go back to training, he obviously has a serious issue.'
A Burger King spokesman said: 'We value and encourage a culture of care and respect for all guests.
'The franchisee, who independently owns and operates this restaurant, is looking into this incident.'
