A pilot has taken satisfying his fast food cravings to the next level after landing a helicopter outside a Sydney McDonald's.
Residents have been left stunned after the aircraft touched down outside the Rouse Hill McDonald's on Saturday afternoon.
The pilot can be seen casually leaving the helicopter before returning with his food and flying away.
The man appears to be the only passenger, and leaves the helicopter running as he disappears inside the restaurant.
'Oh for real, I thought it was an emergency,' a confused observer says as the pilot returns with a bag of food.
While his methods of satisfying his hunger are unorthodox, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority say they are not illegal.
The Authority say that the landing is legal as long as he had permission from the owner of the land.
They are investigating the safety of the landing and take-off.
