A group of daring Western Australian fisherman have been sent sprawling in their boat when they drifted too close for comfort to a huge crocodile basking on a secluded riverbank.
The massive beast was minding its own business when the Northbound Charters fishing boat approached the bank of the Ord River near Kununurra, edging closer and closer to the animal.
The huge fiver-metre reptile suddenly snapped its head back and set off in quick pursuit of the three fisherman, who revved their small vessel into action and fled in panic.
