CCTV footage has captured the terrifying moment a car drove at high speed over a series of wheelie bins, before crashing into a row of parked cars.
The footage from Mobil Grove Road Papakura in New Zealand, which was posted on their Facebook page, captures a seemingly normal day, with cars coming and going from the petrol station.
Suddenly, a car appears in the top left corner of the screen speeding down a grassy verge.
It drives full speed over the top of a line of wheelie bins, sending rubbish flying into the air and across the road.
It continues, half on the road, and speeds straight into the back of a line of four parked cars on the side of the road opposite the petrol station.
The car smashes into the back of small red car, which in turn is pushed into the car in front of it, which then hits the car in front of that, creating a domino effect.
Manager Kuldeeb Bajwa told 1 NEWS the incident took place on Wednesday at 10.20am when he was at the back of the petrol station.
'I ran from the back when I heard the crash,' Mr Bajwa said.
Police told 1 NEWS ambulance staff assessed two patients at the scene.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital.
One woman commented on the Facebook posted with a photo of her red Corolla, which was hit first in the crash.
'The aftermath of me (sic) and John Watt's car the last thing we needed with our first baby due on the 28th of this month lol. R.I.P to the mighty Corolla,' she wrote.
