On Saturday, June 10, lame-brained liberal, Katy Perry sat down with Black Lives Matter trouble maker and race hustler, Deray McKesson, to confess to her phantom sins, brought forth by her uncontrollable white guilt.
Throughout the discussion, Perry admits that she's "made several mistakes" with her music video for "This Is How We Do," in which she wears braids and eats watermelon(as if white people never eat watermelon), and her 2013 American Music Awards performance, in which she dressed as a geisha(as if Japanese people give a damn).
"I listened, and I heard, and I didn't know," she told McKesson. "And I won't ever understand some of those things because of who I am. I will never understand, but I can educate myself, and that's what I'm trying to do along the way...I didn't know that I did it wrong until I heard people saying I did it wrong. And, sometimes that's what it takes. It takes someone to say, out of compassion and out of love, 'Hey, this is what the origin is."
So when is the televised confessional of Beyonce, who bleaches her skin to be more white, straightens and blondes her hair and wears blue contacts? Where is the apology to white Aryan people for culturally appropriating their culture?
