House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told reporters on Thursday that it is not up to the members of the House Democratic caucus as to when she will step down as the leader of the House Democrats.
A reporter asked Pelosi about Democratic Representatives who have expressed their displeasure with Pelosi following the party’s losses in special elections, specifically the special election in Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District.
“I respect any opinion that my members have, but my decision about how long I stay is not up to them,” Pelosi said.
