A shocking Facebook Live video shows the moment a woman tries to save her boyfriend’s life after a heroin overdose in Boston, Massachusetts.
The seven-minute clip, which appeared on Junior JayRoc DiSola’s Facebook feed on June 21, shows a woman passed out next to a man in the front seats of a car in a Dorchester road.
DiSola and a small crowd of people are heard gathering around the car and trying to wake the couple up.
Someone says: ‘Yo, you gotta wake them up. Yo, they dead. Wake up!’
Suddenly, the woman wakes up in a state of confusion, only saying ‘what?’. A needle is seen on her lap.
The passerby continues: ‘Hey yo, is he alright? Get the needle out your lap. Does he need an ambulance? He don’t look alright. Make sure he’s alright.’
She looks over at the passenger and realises the state he is in. She starts shouting his name: ‘Dan.’
Others join in a bid to wake him up. A man’s voice is heard saying: ‘Yo Dan, get up man. Has he even got a pulse? He got a pulse?’
She rushes to the trunk and gets out Narcan — an opiate antidote — and administers two shots.
The woman then begins to perform CPR.
Someone asks: ‘He sounds like he’s breathing though?’
To which she replies: ‘No I’m doing it for him. I know how to do this. Do you know how long I was sitting here?… He doesn’t normally do this shit, this is why I’m worried.’
She thanks the crowd for waking her up.
Suddenly, Dan leans up and begins vomiting. A cop arrives on the scene.
It is not known what condition the man is in.
