Brazil Jewelry Store Robbery Shooting of 2 Municipal Guards

In São Paulo 17-Year-old man was fatally shot and 2 municipal guards are injured during shooting

On the morning of this Saturday 15-07-2017 one person died and two others were injured after a shooting at the center of São José Do Rio Preto (440 km from São Paulo). According to the military police, the victim who died was a 17-Year-old man who was a passerby at the scene at the time of the shooting and ended up being shot by a gunshot.

Two municipal guards were injured. There is currently no info on the condition of male guard. The woman guard who was shot in the abdomen went through surgery at the base hospital. The woman is in stable condition, According to information, the fact occurred when criminals robbed a jewelry store and watch clocks located on Campos Street.

According to the video recorded by a 2 security cameras, a person would have warned that there would be a robbery in an establishment and by arriving at the scene the guards that were not armed were surprised by one of the bandits who waited for their associates outside. After the crime, the robbers undertook to escape, three robbers can be seen fleeing across the road on foot as the gunman flees in their vehicle.
