This is the tragic moment a yoga instructor was killed by a tree - just months after she petitioned for it to be removed.
Kanchan Nath was walking back after a yoga class in Mumbai, India when the unfortunate event happened.
She was held down by the weight of the 25ft tree where she collapsed immediately.
The married 58-year-old was immobilised by the coconut tree which saw onlookers and passers-by trying to help her before being rushed to Sushrut Hospital.
The former TV presenter died of head injuries after being hurried to the Intensive Care Unit.
In the video, she can be seen strolling past some shops in the clip before the fatal event happened.
Her heartbroken husband Rajat Nath blamed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the civic body that governs Mumbai, for the accident
'This incident happened because the BMC did not allow the society to cut the tree, despite being informed that it could fall any time.', he said.
Local residents, including the couple signed a petition for the tree to felled months before the devastating incident.
Ward representative corporator Asha Marathe, said BMC officials had found the tree in good condition and had refused permission to cut it.
Asha said: "A team from BMC refused permission to cut the tree, as they had found it in good condition.
