A shocking video has emerged of a 16-year-old special needs student getting badly hurt when her apparently unsecured wheelchair flips over during a school bus ride.
In the footage teenager Jonay Owens, who can't speak, is blind and suffers from cerebral palsy, is seen hitting her head on seats across the aisle from where she is sitting after the wheelchair tumbles over.
Shockingly, the surveillance video from the bus carrying the teenager home from school in Fulton County, in the US state of Georgia, appears to shows three minutes passed before either the bus monitor or driver came to check on her.
During this time Jonay's head remains pinned against an opposing seat.
