Gangs are flaunting stolen cars and scrambler bikes on social media by filming reckless stunts and uploading them to YouTube.
The vehicles, nicknamed ‘stolies’ - a slang term for stolen cars - are seen in high-speed races and performing donuts on public roads.
A YouTube account called Scouse ‘Stolies’ appeared online a week ago and is the latest in a stream of accounts being used to broadcast illegal gang activity from around Liverpool on the web.
One terrifying clip shows a car with two people in the front seats accelerating dangerously and speeding down a busy main road, swerving round other vehicles in the pouring rain.
