This is the moment a fearless neighbour bravely inched across a fourth-floor window ledge to save a three-year-old girl after hanging precariously from some bars.
The child's mother had allegedly nipped out to get groceries when her daughter climbed out of the high up window in the flat .
But thanks to neighbour Chen Fangyong, the girl's life was saved after he climbed across to the window and supported her weight while waiting for the emergency services.
Firefighters arrived after 20 minutes to cut through the metal bars and pull both the girl and Mr Fangyong to safety.
According to the South China Morning Post , Mr Fangyong was napping at home when he heard noise outside his apartment in Xiaogan in China's Hubei province on Sunday.
